Become the actor you know you can be — with the structure, feedback, and support you’ve been missing.

If you’ve ever thought…

“I love acting, but I don’t know what to focus on.”

“Classes are too expensive — I can’t stay consistent.”

“I live nowhere near a major market."

“I just want a place to train, connect, and actually get better.”

You’re exactly who I built Actor Craft Club for.

Because actors don’t fail from lack of talent — they fail from lack of structure, feedback, and support.

That’s what Actor Craft Club offers.

Actor Craft Club officially launches Jan 1st, 2026 - lock in your Founding Member rate before it goes up to $49/mo or $499/yr!

Why I Created Actor Craft Club

Hi, I’m James Larson — actor, director, acting coach, and founder of Actor Craft Club.

After 18+ years in the industry on stage, on screen, in the booth, I had seen plenty of early career actors come and go. And I know how difficult it can be to pursue your dream of acting professionally, especially when there's not much guidance to go on.

So I built the thing I wish I had years ago — A place where actors could grow in craft and confidence, week by week, without going broke or burning out.

This club isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up. Staying sharp. Finding your people. And I hope you’ll be one of them.

You may be asking yourself...

“Why would I join Actor Craft Club instead of taking in-person acting classes?”

Acting classes are great — but they’re not accessible, consistent, or affordable for most early-career actors.

A single 6-week class in a major city is $450–$650.

And that’s just one class.

One teacher. One time slot. One commute.

Then what?

You need the next class.

Another $500.

And the next.

And the next.

Keeping your craft sharp that way costs $3,000–$6,000 a year minimum.

And if you land in a class with a weak teacher?

You just burned money and 6 weeks of momentum.

Actor Craft Club solves all of that. For a fraction of the cost, you get:

  • Weekly live coaching
  • Multiple coaches’ perspectives
  • Technique, scene work, mindset, type, business
  • Accountability
  • Community
  •  \And reps… actual reps — the thing actors never get enough of
There’s no commute.
No scheduling chaos.
No gatekeeping.

And you’re not gambling on whether the teacher actually knows what they’re talking about.

ACC gives you what in-person training tries to give — but consistently, affordably, and without the friction that stops actors from showing up.

It’s the difference between a gym you visit once or twice a year… and a coach who keeps you strong all year long.

“I’m already taking classes — do I really need ACC too?”

If you’re already in class, great — ACC will make your class 10× more effective.

Most actors go to class once or twice a year and then do nothing in between.

No practice.
No reps.
No accountability.
No feedback until next Thursday or in a few months.

ACC fills that gap.

You get:
  • Weekly coaching
  • Weekly reps
  • Daily prompts
  • Challenges
  • A community of people who actually show up
You’re not replacing your current training — you’re finally reinforcing it.

“What if I’m not good enough / too beginner for this?”

ACC was built specifically for the “beginner who’s decided.”

Not hobbyists.

Not acting vets.

Actors who are serious — but undervalued, overwhelmed, and tired of guessing.

You don’t need to "be good" to start.

You need structure, guidance, and reps.

We give you all three.

If you can show up and try, you’re good enough for ACC.

“I’m scared I won’t keep up / I’m not consistent.”

Then ACC is exactly what you need.

You don’t need discipline — you need a system.

You get:
  • weekly live sessions
  • replay access
  • challenges
  • accountability
  • a community that notices when you show up
We built ACC for the actors who always fall off.

This is the thing that finally keeps you on track.

“I don’t want to be locked into a long commitment.”

Great — you don’t have to be.

Start month-to-month.

See if you love training with us.

Most actors stay because the results show up fast:
more confidence, stronger tapes, clearer choices, better reps.

If it’s not for you, you’re not trapped.

“Why should I train online? Isn’t in-person better?”

Not if you can’t train consistently.

Online training gives you:
  • zero commute
  • maximum reps
  • direct, focused coaching
  • replay access
  • lower cost
  • flexibility
In-person is amazing — but only if you can afford $500 every 6 weeks and commute across town.

ACC makes premium training accessible, not occasional.

And the truth is, whether you work online or in-person, you're still doing the work, and that's what counts.

“Why is it so cheap compared to other programs? Is it low quality?”

It’s cheaper because we’re not renting a building in L.A.

We’re not paying for brick-and-mortar overhead.

We’re not forced into 6-week blocks.

You’re paying for:
  • expertise
  • coaching
  • community
  • reps
  • results
Not fluorescent lighting and a rented studio space.

Cheap ≠ low quality.

Accessible ≠ watered down.

ACC is priced where it is because we want actors around the world to train consistently, not occasionally.

“I’m afraid to be seen by other actors — what if I look dumb?”

Every great actor looks “dumb” before they look brilliant.

ACC is the safest room you’ll ever grow in.

No egos.
No snobs.
No one rolling their eyes at beginners.

We built it specifically to eliminate that energy.

You don’t get judged here — you get better here.

“What if it’s not worth it?”

You’re not gambling $500 on a class you hope helps.

You’re investing a tiny monthly amount into consistent, year-round craft development that doesn’t break your budget.

If you train for a month and don’t feel a noticeable shift in:
  • confidence
  • preparedness
  • clarity
  • understanding of acting
Then cancel.
No drama.
No guilt.

ACC isn’t about locking you in — it’s about lifting you up.

“What kind of classes are these? What technique do you teach?”

Actor Craft Club gives you two core training tracks, built to complement each other and keep you sharp all year:
1. MEISNER LAB

This is where you build your foundation.

While ACC doesn’t officially teach a trademarked Meisner curriculum, I am Meisner-trained — I trained at the original Meisner school in New York, and my approach is deeply informed by that training.

In Meisner Lab, you’ll work through exercises inspired by:
  • repetition
  • independent activities
  • emotional preparation
  • truthful behavior
  • moment-to-moment listening
  • connection and impulse work
And we combine that with other modern, practical techniques I’ve found essential for today’s actors.

The focus is simple: Live truthfully under imaginary circumstances and become a more honest, grounded, present actor.

Everything we do in ACC starts here.
2. SCENE LAB

This is where you put the work into practice. In Scene Lab, you bring:
  • audition sides for upcoming tapes
  • monologues
  • provided class scenes/monologues
  • or scenes you simply want to play with
And we apply what you learned in Meisner Lab directly to the material.

Scene Lab gives you:
  • practical adjustments
  • specific, actionable notes
  • real reps with real stakes a safe space to experiment
  • support sharpening your self-tape skills
  • coaching that translates immediately to auditions
It’s the bridge between technique and execution.
How they work together:

Meisner Lab builds your instrument. Scene Lab lets you play it fully and practice.

You don’t just “learn” acting — you practice it, weekly.

You get the reps most actors never get.

And you grow faster because the work compounds.
